If you are new to ClickIP, this walkthrough takes you from an empty account to a working proxy connection. The dashboard is built so that you can provision, authenticate, and start routing traffic in a few minutes, without wrestling with configuration. Here is the path.
Step 1 โ Create your account
Sign up with your email or a Google account. There is nothing to install; the dashboard runs in your browser. Once you are in, you land on an overview that shows your balance, active proxies, and recent usage โ the three things you will check most often.
Step 2 โ Add a balance
ClickIP runs on a prepaid balance, so your first step is to top up. You can add funds with cryptocurrency, including USDT, or with a card where available. The amount you add sits in your balance and is drawn down as you buy proxies or consume traffic, so you always know your spend and never get a surprise invoice.
Start with a small top-up while you are testing. You can always add more once you have confirmed the setup works for your target.
Step 3 โ Choose a proxy type
Pick the product that matches your task: rotating residential or mobile for defended targets, static ISP for stable account identities, or dedicated IPv4/IPv6 for flat-rate bulk work. If you are unsure, our fundamentals guide on the four proxy types is a good starting point โ and you can change your mind later.
When you order, you select the region and quantity you need. Residential and mobile draw from large pools by geography; dedicated and ISP give you specific, stable addresses.
Step 4 โ Get your credentials
Each order comes with its own isolated authentication โ a host, port, username, and password (or an allowlisted IP, depending on your setup). Isolated per-order credentials are a deliberate design choice: your proxies never share a login, which keeps accounts and projects cleanly separated.
Copy these details into your browser, scraper, or tool of choice. The dashboard shows connection examples so you can paste a working configuration straight away.
Step 5 โ Configure rotation and sessions
For rotating products, you can control whether each request gets a fresh IP or whether an IP stays "sticky" for the duration of a session. Choose per-session or time-based stickiness for stateful tasks like logins and pagination, and free rotation for stateless bulk requests. You set this per order, so different projects can behave differently without touching your code.
Step 6 โ Track your usage
The dashboard reports your traffic and spend in real time. On per-GB products, keep an eye on bandwidth โ it is what you are paying for โ and on flat-rate products you can watch connection health and replace any degraded IP. Usage reporting also helps you right-size future orders based on what you actually consumed.
If anything looks off, the in-app support channel connects you to our team. From here, scaling up is just a matter of adding balance and provisioning more of whatever is working. Welcome to ClickIP.
